Polypropylene shows very good resistance to fatigue. It is low cost, has a good impact resistance. Friction coefficient is low and provides very good electrical insulation also good chemical resistance. It is suitable for all thermoplastic processing processes. The melting temperature of polypropylene is between 130 ° and 171 °.
There are 3 types of polypropylene raw materials.
Polypropylene Homopolymer (produced only from propylene molecules. Because it has no ethylene additives, it becomes very soft. It is used in the production of things like pouches, nylon bags etc.)
Polypropylene BlocoCopolimer (It is raw material up to 3% of ethylene. It is not very resistant to high temperatures. It can be used only in the production of plastic pipes that can be used in cold water transmission lines.)
Polypropylene RandomCopolymer (a raw material with a percentage of ethylene between 3-7%. It can be used safely where very high temperature and pressure resistance is required.)
